Follow your passions in Welsh!

What do you like doing in your spare time?  Do you like playing sports, acting or going to the theatre?  How about doing these things through the medium of Welsh?

Womens Rugby

CRCC Womens Team are looking for new players!

Join a sociable group of women aged 18+ who learn rugby and fitness skills!  No previous experience is necessary.  Several friendly games are arranged during the season and they would love to welcome new players and supporters.

The next practice will be on Wednesday the 11th January at Glamorgan Wanderers Rugby Club at 18.30-20.

Theatre - Acting

Do you like acting?  Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru are looking to create a community cast who can help bring Shakespeare's classic play to life, as they present Macbeth in Welsh for the very first time.

The production will take place at Caerphilly Castle, and also transmitted live to cinemas across Wales.  Take part in this unique experience at a spectacular setting!

They are looking for:
Women and Men aged 18 - 65 years old
Boys aged 11 - 15 years old

Visiting the Theatre

Theatre Genedlaethol Cymru will be presenting a site-specific production of Shakespeare's brutal tragedy in a new Welsh translation by the late Gwyn Thomas.

The cast includes Richard Lynch (Pobol y Cwm, Hinterland) as Macbeth and Ffion Dafis (Byw Celwydd, Rownd a Rownd) as his merciless wife.  Director: Arwel Gruffydd.
